go here 1 chicken bones of a whole cooked chicken
2 cups water
2 carrots, chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
1 large white onion, quartered
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/4 tablespoon fresh thyme
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
Directions
- After chicken is fully cooked, place the chicken bones in the crock pot.
- Add vegetables, water, and herbs.
- Cook on low over night in the crockpot (10-14 hours).
- Carefully strain the stock through a fine mesh strainer to remove the vegetable solids.
- Store stock in a glass jar and refrigerate (good for a week) or freeze (good for a year).
