Bath time is a great time to bond with your children. The first few months of a baby’s life, bath time is a calming and peaceful experience for parents and child. As babies turn into toddlers, keeping them happy in the bath involves a lot more imagination.
My toddlers love fun and educational bath time activities, especially ones where they can get a little messy while they are getting clean (see this DIY kids bath tub paint recipe). I love bath time because I can watch their little minds as they work through puzzles, use their imaginations, and relax.
But that was not always the case. You see, at my old house, I did not spend as much time with the bath time routine with my oldest child as I do now with my two younger children. This was mostly in part due to an outdated bathroom that had glass shower doors with a hard metal track on the bathtub.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the look of glass shower doors! I think that they look better and are much easier to clean than dingy old shower curtains. Unfortunately, these shower doors were always a thorn in my backside (literally) because the track was so uncomfortable to lean or sit on during bath time.
I often would end up with ugly bruises on my arms and chest from leaning over the metal track. Not to mention, they were a beast to keep clean and I always worried my daughter would slip while playing and hit her head on that metal track. Needless to say, her baths were cut pretty short back then.
Sterling Prevail Shower Door Track
When I heard about the new Sterling Prevail shower doors, I was thoroughly impressed. These shower doors use the ComforTrack technology, a flexible bottom track that supports the shower door’s glide, creating an easier, safer, more durable track for your family.
Sterling Prevail Shower Door Features
Sterling Prevail shower doors have a flexible track, which is comfortable, easy to clean, and a smart addition to any showering space. The low profile and sleek design of the cushioned track bends to pressure, is great for bathing kids, washing dogs, lolling in the bath with your feet up, etc. (All the stuff you can’t do with a hard shower track). Not to mention, it is super heavy duty so it can withstand any day-to-day wear and tear.
Sterling shower doors with ComforTrack technology are available for BOTH bath doors and shower doors. This technology is really a win-win for all moms or dads who have bath duty.

We have shower curtains, but I would love to have a nice set of shower doors someday. I think they look nicer.
These are nice! They are similar to what we already have on our tub, but these look…smoother. I like!

We used to just let them draw their own bath and pick their toys. Letting them have control over it made it so much easier.

I have a shower curtain but would love glass doors and that rubber type track would be perfect for me.

That is such a nice change! I know what you mean about the metal banging you up!
This looks awesome. We could really use these at our house.
I’ve always wanted glass shower doors with steel frames like these. I imagine that they are easier to clean and just look really attractive.

My kids hate showers. I have tried so many times. These doors are made for bath or showers.
I’d have loved something like this in my old house. Our master bath shower door popped off the track often. It was annoying and potentially dangerous too.
We took out our doors awhile ago and just hung up a curtain but it was a nightmare. I think these would have worked better than what we had.

I almost did that in my old house. But looking back that would have been a disaster.
These would be great for anyone with young kids, helps with the splashing. If we had an extra bath tub would look into buying some of these.
