Searching for a new job can be a daunting task, especially in this economy. Even in-demand career fields are slow to hire. According to the Wall Street Journal, last month over 7 million Americans worked part-time jobs because they were unable to find a full-time job. While job hunting can seem very difficult at times, it is not entirely impossible.
The key to finding and keeping a job in these tough economic times is positive action. The more positive action you take to find a job and to become a better employee, the better your chances of landing a great job.
Sometimes taking positive action means working your way up from the bottom of the company. Oftentimes the hours are not great, the pay is not optimal, but the end result is the ultimate reward. Here is a great example of how to put positive action into play.

I love this video! I’m learning all about this “Director of Operations” position as a new stay at home mom. Though I have to say if I was doing this interview by video I probably wouldn’t have made it that far to the end to hear what the job really was, haha.

I would not have made it very far in that interview, either.
I absolutely LOVE that quote you have on top. It is so very true!
Thank you. I love it too.
I am totally going to start calling myself that.
Me too!
I moved from an area I’d been in all of my adult life that was prosperous, to an area that is very NOT prosperous. You really have to fight to get a good job here, so I appreciate coming across tips like you’ve offered here.
