Crockpot Hot Wings

An amazing and healthy alternative to store-bought hot wings.

  • 20 Chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup Organic coconut oil melted
  • 3/4 cup Frank's Hot Sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp. Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Minced garlic

Crockpot Directions

  • 1. Place chicken wings at the bottom of the crockpot.
  • 2. Mix melted coconut oil, garlic, hot sauce, and water in a bowl until completely blended.
  • 3. Pour mixture over chicken wings, cover.
  • 4. Cook on Low for 8 hours.

Broiler Directions

  • 1. After chicken wings have cooked in crockpot on Low for 8 hours, take out of crockpot and place on a cookie sheet.
  • 2. Place under the broiler for 5 minutes to crisp up the chicken wings.
  • 3. Let chicken wings to rest for 5 minutes.

Notes

Use remaining sauce in crockpot to pour over chicken wings after they have been crisped.
