Healthy Homemade Pumpkin Butter

A delicious and healthy pumpkin butter recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can real pumpkin puree
  • ¼ c fresh squeezed orange juice the juice of 1 medium orange
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ c agave
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Mix all ingredients together in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring continuously.
  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.
  • Pour into airtight jars.

Notes

Homemade pumpkin butter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks or frozen for up to a year.
