Turmeric Tea

A delicious Turmeric tea to soothe the mind and soul.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 1 teaspoon powdered turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup optional
  • Milk or cream to taste optional

Instructions
 

  • 1. Bring water to a boil in a small sauce pot
  • 2. Add powdered herbs
  • 3. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • 4. Strain tea into a mug,
  • 5. Add maple syrup and/ milk or cream (optional),
  • 6. Stir to combine.
  • 7. Drink warm.
