Hi everyone! I’m so sorry it’s been so long since I last updated you on the Virtual Camino de Santiago challenge, I’ve been doing with Conqueror Fitness Challenges. This month has been a whirlwind.
Between birthdays, a makeup First Penance, a makeup First Communion, and Independence Day, it has been super busy. But I continue to chip away at my miles.
I have also been listening to some pretty cool audiobooks on my walks (listed below). They have really helped to keep me focused on the longer stretches of trail.
I increased my mileage by a lot this month too. Most of my weekly training walks are 1.5 to 8 miles long. My longer (usually on Saturdays) walks topped out at 18 miles! I was so proud of myself for reaching that milestone. I have not walked distances like these since I was training for the Avon 39 back in 2017.
