Another difficult area for me since I began eating a Paleo diet is giving up dairy. I found that I initially craved cheese but that craving quickly subsided with the help of other nutrient dense foods such as almonds and vegetables.
The one dairy product that I still struggle with not having is half and half in my morning coffee. I love coffee but it has to be prepared a certain way to make sure that it is creamy and smooth. Trying paleo-friendly coffee creamer alternatives did not go over well, mainly because they lacked flavor and thickness of the half and half.
