As a mama with some moxie, I’m always trying to look my best. I have always believed that to do this, you have to put your best face forward and have an air of confidence about yourself. With this in mind, I am always on the lookout for products that will make my combination skin look amazing without breaking the bank.
I recently had the pleasure of trying out Radha 100% PureArgan Oil. I was pleasantly surprised to get a full-size bottle of this amazing gold of Morocco to use and review. As a bonus, they sent me a second full-size bottle of Radha Beauty 100% PureFractionated Coconut Oil to also review. This post is my candid, impartial review of their products.
Argon Oil
If you are anything like me, you are undoubtedly thrilled to have discovered argan oil. I was introduced to it many years ago by my hairstylist who suggested that it may help my thick, and often-times, coarse and frizzy hair. But there are so many wonderful beauty benefits of argan oil such as a more even skin tone, smoother skin, decreased wrinkles, reduction of scars, radiant hair and nails, and even relief from eczema and psoriasis.
Unfortunately, not all argan oil is created the same. Argan oil is produced by pressing of the ripe argan tree fruit nuts. Varying commercial manufacturing, as well as treatment processes used by cosmetic companies, can create some commercial products that are far inferior to others.
5 Reasons to Love Radha Argan Oil
Authentic argan oil. If you are purchasing the argan oil from a trustworthy online retailer in the USA. To ensure you are receiving authentic argan oil, read the label as well as where it was produced and bottled. Always buy 100% pure argan oil. Other ingredients in the final product may weaken the oil’s natural properties, like acetic acid. Radha Argan Oil is imported from Morocco but bottled in the United States and even includes a telephone number email, and website information right on the bottle for any questions or concerns regarding their product or argon oil in general.
Professional cosmetic grade. When choosing an argan oil as a beauty product, be certain you are purchasing cosmetic grade versus culinary argan oil. The nuts used for skin and hair products are left raw to preserve the essential fatty acids and vitamins. Radha Argan Oil states right on the front of the bottle that it is specifically for skin care, so there is no confusion. The oil has not been tested on animals–that is a huge bonus. With just an application of 2-3 drops, the oil is very light, non-greasy, and fragrance-free making it usable for even the most sensitive of skin types. It absorbed into my skin very quickly so I could finish typing my review.
Pure and organic. Not only should what we put in our body be pure and organic but also what we put ON our bodies should be as well. Our skin is the largest organ our body has and is capable of absorbing toxins in cosmetics and skin care products. To achieve the greatest beauty advantage, select an argan oil that is pure and certified organic. This ensures the highest level of authenticity in the production process. I love that this argan oil is labeled as 100% Organic and 100% Pure Argan Oil (Argania Spinosa). I have too often purchased what I thought was pure argan oil only to find that there were “fillers” in more inferior products. Not to mention some products produced by cosmetic companies left my skin irritated and greasy.
Processing. The finest argan oils are labeled cold-pressed or first cold-pressed. Cold-pressed means the oil was not heated over 80 degrees Fahrenheit during processing, so it retains more nutrients. First cold-pressed, which is the highest quality available, means that the oil was produced with the initial pressing of the argan nuts. As if the above were not reason enough to love this company, Radha Argan Oil is extracted from the nut of the Argan tree and is first cold-pressed making this product far superior to others on the market today.
Packaging. Always buy argan oil that is in a dark-colored, UV-protected glass bottle, instead of plastic. Not only is it more eco-friendly but it also preserves many of the oil’s amazing properties making it more effective for longer. Radha uses a dark blue glass bottle to diminish the effects of UV on the oil. It does let a little light in but when stored in a medicine cabinet or cosmetic bag, it is UV free.
Review
Overall, I found Radha Argan Oil to be a far superior product to any other argon oil I have tried in the past. I am quite prone to breakouts, so I was a little concerned at first that pure argan oil might make me breakout. But I have used it on my skin, my weightlifting calluses on my hands, my hair, my feet, and my face without any problems. Plus I still have nearly a whole bottle of this argan oil left to incorporate into my daily beauty rituals.

Review
When I received this bottle of Radha Beauty 100% Pure Fractionated Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera), I was very excited to put it to use. I had read about all the amazing uses of fractionated coconut oil but never had the opportunity to try it out before. It works amazingly well with aromatherapy and massage. In the past, I have used almond oil as my carrier oil of choice when performing aromatherapy and massage on the babies. I was excited to see that this oil is a close comparison to the almond oil I had been using, only without a scent
I also applied the fractionated coconut oil to my legs after a shower. It made my legs, which are prone to dryness, to feel moisturized and more hydrated than with regular body lotion. Immediately following application, the oil is absorbed into my skin. It reminds me of “luxury oils” like Rodin Olio Lusso but without the price tag.
