Wow! I cannot believe we are almost halfway through September. It seems like this year has really flown by. I have been keeping busy with another one of The Conqueror Challenges virtual fitness challenges. This year from January 1st until August 23 my husband and I were busy (virtually) walking and cycling the historic Route 66. The route was very long…2280 miles and took a lot of strength and endurance mentally and physically.
After all that walking and cycling with my husband with the Route 66 challenge, I decided to complete a challenge by myself. I completed all of my challenges last year solo so, this year I decided to walk and ride the St. Francis Way (Conqueror Challenge) which is 312.4 miles. I have also set a goal for myself to complete a one-day 50k (31 miles) walking challenge this year. After walking a full marathon last year in one day, I wanted to push myself farther and harder this year.
