I just made a meal for my family that was so good I’m thinking about making more after everyone goes to bed. I seriously have never pan fried fish before and this turned out so perfect. On top of that, it was only 250 calories per serving and took all of 15 minutes to prepare and cook! You definitely can’t beat that.
Ingredients
- 4 (6-ounce) tilapia fillets
- 1/4 cup brown rice flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 large egg white
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Directions
1. Combine flour and cornmeal in a shallow dish.
2. Combine 1 tablespoon water and egg white in a separate shallow dish, mixing well.
3. Sprinkle both sides of fish evenly with garlic salt and chili powder.
4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Dip fish in egg mixture and then into flour mixture.
6. Add fish to skillet.
7. Cook 2 1/2 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily.
