Happy New Year and welcome to the first Wisdom Wednesday of 2015. It has been quite some time since I wrote this segment. But I am back from an extended hiatus. My hiatus was due in part to the holidays as well as moving my family an all of our belongings across the country. I can assure you each was stressful unto itself but both were such wonderful blessings. The start of 2015 has been fantastic.
While moving is stressful and burdensome, we had some wonderful people helping along the way. Without their help, we really would not have been able to pull this off. Sure there were times when opportunities seemed more like hassles than help but in the end it all turned out for the best. In fact, it was quite seamless in how well that it all worked out.
My move has inspired today’s Wisdom Wednesday virtue of cooperation. Without the cooperation of friends, family, and strangers none of the plans we made (and didn’t make) would have come into fruition. Cooperation is the association with other people to achieve a mutual goal. It is the genuine desire to want to help someone else for the sake of achieving a common objective. In our case it was relocation. But cooperation is seen in business, partnerships, religious affiliations, community service, politics, school, and at home.
