Good morning. Happy Wednesday! Welcome to Wisdom Wednesday. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. I, myself, had to work Saturday and Sunday but I was able to spend the holiday with friends.
This week’s virtue focuses on tolerance. Tolerance is a reasonable and objective approach concerning those whose views and customs vary from one’s own. It is awareness to allow, permit, appreciate, or acknowledge something whether it be religion, politics, culture, race, or lifestyle; free of bigotry.
It is also the dedication to value human dignity. Each person is both a source and recipient of tolerance. It does not mean that you have to accept the views but, in fact, realize that we are all one and that each person and/group is unique and accepted as part of this race—the human race.
How do you practice tolerance?
