I have been so busy lately with the blog, fun summertime activities with the kids, and participating in virtual fitness events. With the husband working from home, we have had the opportunity to get out and about in our new town A LOT this summer. It has been a real blessing.
But, in between writing and summer fun with the kiddos, I’ve also started an Etsy shop– Moxie Mama Co. You heard that right ETSY!
Now do not get me wrong, I love spending all of my time working here on the blog bringing you great content, but I also LOVE to design digital and print art. It was something I had a passion for way before it was trendy.
In fact, all my blog graphics were created and designed by ME!
I honestly must thank this blog for my love of all things graphic art and design. And boy have I learned a lot in my 8 years as a blogger when it comes to blog design and art. Some of my first designs were…eeeww! I recently edited some of my earlier blog posts that are still generating good traffic and I was shocked by how not cute the graphics looked.
So, I decided to spend some time on redesigning the older posts and boy has that made all the difference in the world! These blog posts are now getting 10 times more traffic than they were in the past! WIN!
As I was spending all this time on the older post, revamping them and such, I started playing around with my graphic design programs to make little gifts for friends in family who needed a little pick-me-up during quarantine. And little did I realize just how much I enjoyed making these digital gifts.
I then started creating printables in my Moxie Mama Co Etsy shop to help other friends and family that were wanting (and needing) to reconnect with themselves. These have been my biggest sellers to date!
