Black Friday is REI’s #OptOutside day. It is a day where you can get outside on the trail or on the beach, to the mountains or to the desert and away from the Black Friday crowds. Whatever you decide, just get outside. Here is a great little printable to use with the littlest of hikers to keep them engaged and enthusiastic about being outside.
For the third year running, we have made #OptOutside a tradition in our family. We pack all the kids in the van and head for the hills…literally. We enjoy hiking in an area of our state that is in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The kids love it too. It is a time for them to enjoy everything that our state and nature has to offer.
