Homemade wrinkle releaser DIY

The other day, ran into a dilemma. I was running behind, as usual because time is always very limited with a 3 month old baby, and I the garment I was going to wear was extremely wrinkled. I did not have time to iron so, I reached for my Downy Wrinkle Releaser only to find it empty! All was not list though, I remember a homemade recipe from my military days.

This little recipe has saved me a lot of time and energy through the years. Being a mom of four, I don’t have time to iron every day and dry cleaning is out of the question.

Mixing together a batch of this Homemade Wrinkle Releaser not only saves me time but it saves me money too. For only about $1.00 a batch (I use dollar store ingredients), I can make up a batch that will last me at least a month.

So, if you’re anything like me– a super busy mama– try this one out! Let me know what you think too!

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups water
  • 2 teaspoons of fabric softener (organic works really well)
  • 3 drops lavender essential oil (optional)

Directions

  1. Pour both ingredients into a spray bottle using a funnel, then shake to mix together.
  2. Spray wrinkled garment. Give garment a tug and place on a hanger to dry. The garment will release wrinkles as it dries.

Enjoy!
